Jovann Walker founded Euphoria Nail & Body Bar in the spring of 2008 on the principle that everyone deserves to be pampered without breaking the bank. Walker’s idea was to create a Nail Salon/Day Spa that was midpoint between a bare bones discount nail shop, and an excessively over priced beautiful salon. She conceived of a spa-like environment that was clean and decorated with comfortable furniture and relaxing colors, coupled with innovative services at affordable prices. By turning her dream into a reality she believes she has significantly improved the lives of her clients.

“Our goal was to provide the best manicure, pedicure, and facials experience to customers with safety to our employees and clients first.” During the past few years, the nail spa industry was flooded with sub-standard salons where a routine spa’s visit had turned into a nightmare for clients. “We understand that concern, because it was a concern of mine” says owner Jovann Walker. At Euphoria Nail & Body Bar clients will be able to relax in a clean and tastefully decorated facility. “We’ve taken safety to a higher level; we’ve designed custom made jet-less foot spas with stainless steel sinks to reduce the risk of infections. These stainless steel pedicure basins are pipe-less non-whirlpool operated to prevent water and bacteria to remain in pipes in-between client use.” The utilization of hospital-grade sanitation practices are performed during and after each treatment. In addition, Euphoria has implemented an Only One Usage System for their tools. Every client is provided with a new disposable emery board, buffer, and pumice pad during their service. In addition, the reusable metal clipper, pusher, and nippers are sanitized in an autoclave after each use. Autoclaves are typically used in dental and medical offices for cleaning and sterilization of surgical tools to kill any and all bacteria. After sterilizing, the tools are then sealed into sterile pouches until the next client use. “The sterilized package of clippers & nippers are opened right in front of our customers’ eyes to confirm it’s once only usage. Also, our clients may take home the emery board, buffer, and pumice pad that were used during their visit or they will be discarded. All of this allows our clients the ability to relax and enjoy their spa experience.”
