Euphoria Get's Minxed with Minx Nails

Euphoria Nail & Body Bar has officially been Minxed!

Minx nails is the new hot thing and latest trend in celebrity nails to get. Everyone in Hollywood is getting Minxed and now you can too. Having read about Minx for quite some time now, I was itching to get them on my hands and as a service in my salon. A few months ago I contacted Minx and arranged to get myself along with my top two manicurists trained in the Minx Nail application. We flew out to LA to meet West Coast celebrity manicurists and Master Minx Artist Naja Rickette. Minx nails turned out to be way cooler than we expected. The adhesive in Minx is activated by a heat lamp then applied to nails, like a sticker, they are a mess free and a green alternative to nail polish and fake tips. The nail color, which can last up to three weeks, can be removed at home by using a blow-dryer, which softens the adhesive, or by soaking in warm water -- no polish remover necessary. The great thing about this product is that it’s not nail polish so it won’t chip or peel off. Available in more than 150 styles, which run the spectrum from solid colors to sparkly metallics, zebra prints, polka dots and plaids, and it appeals in part because it requires no drying time and doesn't smudge. After a day full of training, putting the minx on….taking them off and then on again we were crowned and officially Minx artists.

Though it's still largely under the radar, Minx has been winning celebrities and celebrity fans alike since it was introduced two years ago. Since that time, Minx has exploded on to the celebrity and fashion scene. They've been popping up at red carpet events, in music videos and on the runways. BeyoncĂ© has worn Minx golden lightning for her video “Single Ladies”, the AMA award show and red carpet events. Other high-profile Minx fans include Eve, Solange, Pop Star Rhianna, Victoria Beckham, Christina Aguilera, Blake Lively, Lisa Marie Presley and her daughter Riley Keough to name a few.

Offered at select nail salons throughout the country and through top celebrity manicurists, the product finds enthusiastic fans among those who'd prefer to have their nails done in a fume-free environment. We at Euphoria Nail & Body Bar are looking forward to being one of the only salons in the Tri-Valley area to offer Minx nail designs to our clients and for $40 for minx manicures and $65 for minx pedicures, you can get Minxed too!

"Minx is for those who love to stand out from the crowd," declares Janice Jordan, Minx Chief Executive.

"For celebrities who wore Minx nails on the red carpet for the American Music Awards and the Music Rocks event, Minx opened up a whole new area of fashion. Once you've tried it, you can't go back." Victoria Beckham was 'Minxed' for her recent Birthday bash and Beyonce has been raving about her 'Minxed' nails. With hundreds of designs to choose from, Gigi Rouse says

"There is no other way anyone could apply these designs to both natural and enhanced nails in such a quick time (15 minutes). With Minx, Nail art is beautifully and tastefully done and, most importantly, affordable!!"

  1. Interesting content.

Just wanted to share some information that may help busy professionals caught up with work and who have less time to maintain their nails. You can try out gel nails which are now becoming a hot favorite as they are natural looking even without nail tips and the best way for nail enhancement. Also, if you are allergic to those strong smelling chemicals which you can experience with acrylic nails, then you should use gel nails as these are odorless.

However, when you are planning on gel nail application, make sure you approach a nail salon or a nail artist who is well versed with gel nails and is properly trained and mastered in gel applications. This will save you from problems that can arise with improper gel nail applications.

  2. Good information.

I came across many queries in several forums where people have been asking for advice on the best glue that can be used on nails and that is not only strong but also safe on nails. This was the same question I had sometime back when I used to apply nail gel myself. Initially the glue I got would never hold on the way it used to when done in the salon. I then came across the nail glue being sold on gel-nails which lasts very long and is pretty easy to apply. It provides a strong bonding for my nails and also does a great job in repairing the nail tips.

Most important of all is that this is strong glue I was actually looking out for and this is used by nail salons and nail artists for professional applications. It is available at a cheap price at gel-nails and I remember seeing it at a discount of 74% which is great. Maybe this can help if you also face problems relating to poor glue quality as I did earlier.
